Sydney Try Out Day Registration

Due to the heat, the 19th March Try Out Day has been postponed until the 29th April.

Our Sydney Try Out Day was supposed to be held on Sunday 19th March at Dogs NSW in Orchard Hills, however due to the heat, it has been postponed until the 29th March. All dogs that were registered for the 19th March will automatically be transferred to the 29th April. If you cannot make the new date, please contact us at [email protected] by 31 March 2023 and let us know.
We will make a decision about opening up extra places once we understand how many entries are transferred across to the new date.

44 Luddenham Rd, Orchard Hills
The grounds at Dogs NSW are located behind the show rings, in the small lure coursing paddock near the Rotunda. Enter the complex, and follow the road to the left. When you hit the T-junction at the end, turn left. The small LC paddock will be on your right.
Note: Snakes have been seen at this venue. Please use caution when exercising dogs.

Payment Details

Your spot at our Try Out Day will only be confirmed once we have received payment. Payments can be made via direct deposit or Paypal. Please do not pay unless you were successful in securing a spot. You can calculate your total cost using the following pricing:
  • Dogs under 12 months (puppy runs) - $10
  • First time coursing dogs/having issues coursing (assistance runs) - $10
  • Experienced coursing dogs (cash & dash) - $5
  • Discounted NSWLCA Membership - $5
Please note: NSWLCA membership is required if you are not a member of a Dogs Australia state body (ie. Dogs NSW, Dogs ACT etc). If required, you will be asked to sign up for membership as part of your Try Out Day registration.

Paying Via Paypal
To use PayPal:
  • Head to the NSWLCA PayPal page. 
  • Click "send" and log into your PayPal account.
  • Enter the total amount for your dog(s) runs and membership (if required). Click "add a note" and enter your Surname and your Dog's Name so we can match your payment to your registration. Click "continue".
  • Check your payment details and when they are correct, click "send money now"
