The New South Wales Lure Coursing Association Inc. was formed in 2015 to bring together lure coursing enthusiasts from all over NSW. As the only Dogs NSW affiliated club dedicated solely to the sport, the NSWLCA runs several ANKC lure coursing trials and Coursing Ability Tests (CAT) each year between April and September as well as holding try out days and workshops throughout NSW.
Though dedicated to encouraging the preservation and development of the coursing skills inherent in sighthounds, the club also welcomes non-sighthound owners to test their dog's coursing ability. We are committed to learning as much as we can not only about the sport, but about the traits and health requirements needed by dogs to be successful in lure coursing and regularly bring in experts from around the country and overseas to help us achieve this goal.
The club has been affiliated with Dogs NSW and registered as an Incorporated Entity since December 2015.
